Good morning All.

Back after my mini break at friends, pleased to be home, especially after the rotten weather. It's a lovely morning here so I might get the washing dry. I haven't been round the garden yet so don't know if any damage has been done. Sorry I missed the game. I didn't really catch up with all the posts, just dipped in, there were far too many.

Hope everyone is well.

Catch you later.

Evening All.

Just dropping in for a quick catch-up. No tea to cook tonight as we are out at a friends house, just what I could do with.

Becks- I love the Vodka Christmas cake thingy, very clever, who ever thinks them up

Geoff.  - Cody is adorable, he looks as though he just about tolerated being dressed up

We have always fancied having some chickens, but we really haven't got the room without re-organising the garden, and then what do you do when you want to go away?

Lincoln Christmas Market starts on the 6th December for 4 days. It's absolute mayhem, we get coaches from all over the country, but it's worth going to just for the atmosphere  and sights around the Cathedral and Castle. We are twinned with a German Town so we get the Gluhwein ,German Sausages, and biscuits yum,. Has anyone ever been to it? There are usually about 400 stalls and a fun fair.

Have a good evening, no GW but there is Children in Need.

Catch you tomorrow.

Morning All.

Hope all are well.Didn't get up very early this morning, was warm and comfy and it's not very nice outside today, dull and miserable.

We are going to a funeral this lunch time, a long time neighbour, not particularly close, but thought we would go and pay our respects. So the thought of that doesn't do much to lift the gloom.

On a lighter note, we are going to friends this evening for a celebratory meal, it's his birthday, so looking forward to getting together with other friends, and she is a jolly good cook, so should be a good evening.

Enjoy your day forkers, might be back later, got a lot to pack in today.

Afternoon all.

Just finished Passport renewal application. Why does filling in those sort of forms always make me nervous, both of us need to renew before next April so thought I had better do one this month and leave the other till after Christmas, help spread the cost, at £72.50 each it's not cheap.

Oh has just made a nice cup of tea, always taste better when someone else makes it., but no cake can't get the staff.

Geoff, Where do you get them from

I bet the circulation of Garden News has gone up this week Pam, by the way lovely flowers in pic, I've still got a few penstemons, cosmos and dahlias just hanging on don't want to pull them up/ cut them back until absolutely forced to..

Good morning everyone, Pam, Jo, Gary, Inka, PPam, and Jean, hope I haven't missed anyone, if I have apologises, and Geoff when he arrives.

I might go up to vote, but as we have only had a leaflet from 1 candidate, and have only heard of 1 other,  both independent, it makes you wonder if its worth it.

The Co-op were certainly on the ball this morning Pam, enjoy, if that is the correct term, your new washer, what would we do without them.?

Enjoy your day.

Evening All,

I thought a Kerbey was a posh vacuum cleaner or maybe it was a Kirby.

We have some new neighbours from Lancashire, and they say brew for making a cup of tea. Where I come from originally, they say are you mashing?.

Chilli con Carne and brown rice tonight for tea, OH out for domino training, in other words a pint with the ' lads', so a quiet night in for me and the cat.
