What's the weather like in your area?

Nr Lincoln.

Good morning everyone.

It's very quiet on the forum today, are you all out enjoying the sun?

Sunny here,  but a cool breeze. I hope it warms up a bit this afternoon. Looking forward to Wartime Farm this evening.

Frank- I have 5 hardy fuchsias at the moment, 2 in pots and 3 in the garden. We also grow quite a number of non-hardy for baskets, pots etc. They give such a show. Sorry to have gone off topic a bit.

Have a nice day whatever you are doing.

Nr Lincoln.

Glorious day here, lovely sunshine, makes you feel good.

I have decided I'm going to have more Hardy Fuchsias next year, as you say Frank they have done really well and are so easy to look after.

Take care

Hi everyone.

Just got back from having a routine blood test I hate having them! must be the week for medical issues in our family..We then called at Waitrose to see if they had anything going cheap. Must just have hit it right as I got a few bits reduced, always gives you a good feeling

We are out this afternoon for afternoon tea at a small teashop in town courtesy of Groupon, afternoon tea for two for £7, will let you know later the outcome.

Lovely day here, sorry you had a bad head Jean, not nice, and that Lottie missed out on the plants.

Becks -- I wouldn't mind a week in a villa in Spain, all that lovely sunshine, hope you and Jess enjoy it when you get there, It will be quite an adventure for her

Cheers for now, I'm not allowed chocolate.

Lovely day here, some cloud earlier, but it is now sunny and warm with a slight breeze.

I have also got washing out, makes you feel like doing a few jobs when the weather is good.

Have a nice day.

Hi everyone.

Back to normal today after spending 3 hrs at the orthopaedic clinic yesterday afternoon with daughter with broken foot. She had to see the consultant yesterday and have the cast removed. We were moving from one department to another, very boring, anyway good news the plaster is off, not so good news, foot still swollen and tender so she will be of work for a further few weeks. As she works 12 hour shifts as nurse I can't see her being able to work for some time anyway, I'm now going to sort the caravan out ready for next weeks hols. We have decided to go to Herefordshire, will be looking out for Monty and Nigel as we will be in his neck of the woods, might even drop in for a cup tea

I like the idea of going to someones garden and just digging up what you want,

David love the begonias lovely quiet shades.

Becks. I remember that back to school feeling so well. Although you love them to bits, it's nice to have a few hours of "me" time.

Bye for now have a nice day whatever you are doing.

Good morning all.

Lovely morning here, really annoyed that we missed Mantalbano last night and forgot to record it. Daughter and partner came for a BBQ so it completely went out of my head.

Dean is the thick head due to shopping or a little too much sherbert last night

Have a nice day everyone.

Hi everyone. I found the colour in the dahlia garden just too much for me. I like to see variation in planting, but everyone to their own. I admire his skill and dedication, there's no doubt that, but after visiting my sister-in-laws garden which is mainly shades of green with little touches of white and blue/purple, I know where I would rather spend my time. As for the rest of the programme, enjoyable, went too quickly. 1 hour programme needed please BBC.

What I don't like are the little grey slugs you get in lettuce. They really put me off, I have used no end of salt in the washing water. ugh. horrible

Anyway I have done my last cat feeding/watering duty today so it's back to normal, no more flying around between 3 houses, managed not to set burglar alarm off.

Getting ready for a BBQ, must get sweet potato wedges in the oven.
