All the general on line nurseries sell them as do local garden centres and places such as B & Q, Wilkinsons and Homebase, The National collection is held bt Winchester Growers of Penzance Cornwall and their catalogue is very varied. As Geoff says, you will not get anything until next spring now.

I used to be on GC too.I read an article by Chris Beardshaw who said he'd severed all links with the site 2 yrs ago because of an unrealistic business plan. The site has now closed.

cutting hydranga

You might be a bit late for cuttings but it won't hurt to try. Straight into pots, they root from cuttings very easily. Only some hydrangeas change colour with the acidity of the soil, some are blue if soil is acid, pink if it's alkaline. Hydrangeas flower between June and October usually - you can take cuttings anytime between spring and autumn

What indeed?? Now, is it going to rain today? I am due to start "The great Autumn garden revamp" but could just as easily sit indoors and read my Kindle

Boring show last night Surely there are other topical issues than grasses and veg?? It doesn't help that it is filmed 2 weeks before transmission
