Please Chris ( if I may be so bold as to shorten your name  ) carry on posting as frequently as possible. I enjoy reading your posts and am pleased that there is a fellow gardener in Cornwall  I read several Forums / Message Boards and no one EVER lives in Cornwall - we pasties must stick together 

My cuttings!

I couldn't be bothered with bedding plants.They are so cheap to buy as seedlings in the spring ( cheaper than heating a gh, buying compost pots et al) I do take cuttings of perennials and overwinter them in a cold gh and coldframe.

Brand New Garden - 1 Year on

Looks great but I'd have much less lawn and much more planting, unless you have children

Plants online

I've never had any trouble with plants from Parkers. Conversely, I had a broken peony and badly potted on gaura from Crocus, so I guess it's a bit of a lottery.

I use small nurseries from eBay quite a lot, they are generally excellent. Of the more commercial ones I always use Viv Marsh for alstroemerias, Haylofts for penstemons and Wootens of Wenhaston for auriculas.

I have used both Parkers and T and M for plug plants and they have been fine
