Yes, as long as you keep them frost free. I do it with carnations and pinks every year

I have a camellia and a rhodo in flower  in contrast, my phlox, cosmos and dahlias, which I would expect to be still in flower, finished a couple of weeks ago

Penstemons, fuchsias and phlox are all easy to propagate from cuttings and they all flower from June to October

Don't like the gimmick of having the dog prowling around.Think this series is very laboured and slow, matching the presenter's style.Been quite disappointed overall, actually

I won't watch things in iplayer - I like to view in comfort on a large screen  but I understand it is a good programme and wish it was available on tv

Well it's chilly, blowing a gale and pouring with rain down here near Lands End, and it's been like this all day. I have a jumper on and have lit the woodburner. We haven't had a summer - just one good week!!
