Drooping Cucumber Plants

Posted: 10/06/2012 at 22:21

Oh dear....I may have put mine out a tad early too, they were grown from seed indoors, repotted and put into greenhouse, seemed to be doing fine and were about 3' high with around 4 leaves on so put the best ones...9 into a raised bed about 2 weeks ago. They now seem to have gone backwards and I think they are being nibbled by an intruder.....Help meeeee please!!!

I know I'm going to sound dumb now and I apologise in advance but I'm not sure what earlies, second earlies and maincrop are....does it mean new potatoes first then inbetweeners then old potatoes from the same plant?

Thank you Dovefromabove....think I may have some weeding to do then!

I did use markers at one end of each row but I must have dropped a few carrot seeds, these are popping up in their neighbours row!! oh well practise makes perfect....I hope.

I planted Leeks, Beetroot, carrots and potatoes in late May, The potatoes are in full swing and the carrots have popped up and are quite obvious to the eye.....my problem is where I planted the beetroot and leeks, quite a few weeds have popped up, I dare not pull them up just in case I pull up my veg! should they have started to show yet and will it be obvious when they do....I have tried to identify them by looking for rows but I think maybe my rows were'nt exactly rows...if you know what I mean!? )

Hi,

My beautiful pink poppies have been battered by the wind and rain and are now looking very sorry for themselves....can I do the 'Chelsea chop' on them.....if thats what its called (as you can see I'm a newbie!) and if so, how far down do I chop and will they reflower this year???
