LesleyK - good points - to be honest, I had in mind (think I am close?!)

Bird houses - £15

Planter (shed photo) £10

Someone in my work offered me £150 for the insect hotel! I turned it down as it is a present from my kids for wife for mothers day

But I can build to any size, this one is approx 20" wide and 3' tall with the roof. plants will be added to the inside of roof too. photos soon.

I have also begun building a website to sell my bits, still very early days though!

Thank you

Actually loved making and filling this, something I may also approach GC's for to sell them. Just no clue on how much!

Thank you for the comments appreciated.

I haven't approached yet but plan too, going to take and print some nice photos and take them along see what they say. It's only a kind of hobby but if I can sell, the better for it!

Agree regarding getting my kids out there, my next project is to make 2 ground level planters for each of them to plant whatever they like.

Ps this is the 'insect hotel' filling up slowly, last section will have pine cones. Top to have plants in soon.

Creeping thyme sounds perfect, will attract bees which is a big plus.
