Posted: 02 December 2011
Overall: Hi, i wondered if you could help me out......ive never had a Hollyhock in my garden before and i have no idea where my one came from but i have one and its so beautiful.....There are lots of seed pods on the plant left behind from the falling petals but when and how do i remove them?
I want to save the seeds and have promised friends and family some as they have all admired this 9.5 feet towering beauty. But i dont when is best to collect them.
Many thanks for your help.

Overall: I have never had a Hollyhock in my garden but this year i do....at first, because of its height, i thought it was a sunflower but then these beautiful black jet flowers started to appear. This Hollyhock is nearly 9.5 feet tall now. I dont know where is came from but im glad that it is here.....
