That's perfectly fine.  Just get them in, weather permitting of course.

I buy it from the Allotment Association Shop - on site, where my allotment is located. I just got sick of the rubbish that garden centres sold, so decided to give this a go. Never regretted the move. Its fine.

Absolutely Brumbull - when you've spent a lot of money on nice seeds, the last thing you want to do is sow em in crap compost. I pay only £4.50 for a 60 ltr bag, so it's not badly priced...well not for me.

As promised - I had two different sorts - the visuals say it all.

I won't even be touching the stuff, let alone be buying it.  I use Humax.

Linda....I could say all kinds but one thing is for sure. This appears to be a legal matter, if thats the correct term to use

Have you thought about contacting CAB aka Citizens Advice Bureau. These are the people in the know with regards to your rights. Could be worth trying !

Hope all gets sorted.

I've never seen Humax in any of my local centres - loads of the other crap. But my allotment shop stocks it and is very popular amongst us gardeners.

Here's a link to a stockiest I've found online.

I'm off to the garden soon and I'll checkout which type I have. Although I'm almost sure its multi and I gets used for sowing right to filling baskets/pots.

I'll take some pics of it's consistency and content - it's good stuff !!

Help Please!

Thats in pretty good condition - I've seen worse. The best way to tackling any thing in life, is to be methodical and consistent in your approach.

Choose a small section and decide if it needs just a tidy, dig or cut. With the chosen tools just crack on until that small section is done. Once it is, put your tools away and go make yourself a tea/coffee - stand and admire your work.

With your beverage in hand, allocate your next little plot and make plans to do this another day.

This was the best advice given to me by gardeners with 30-40yrs experience, when I was like you. And believe me, it does work ! LITTLE and OFTEN is the key here.

Goodluck - it will look great in no time.
