not sure if it sb ,what was told it does is it controls spider mite and many other things by it smothers them in sticky/soapy solution and suffocates them and at the same time feeds the plant but to be careful as not to spray in hot weather that's it.

have a raspberry but it never gets the chance to produce fruit as its always getting attacked by caterpillars, not sure what sort of caterpillar they are,there about 1cm long,white with a black head,what type of caterpillar are they and how can i control them.any advice would be great thanks.

dam cats have the same problem. if not leaving there mess all over my gravel there digging up my pots or trying to root out my bins and also killing the birds,the amount of cat that are around in my garden is about 10-12 of the dam things neighbours must collect them for fun. had my way id use a shot gun to control them.only kidding.

cheers to all that have replyed.not used slug pellets before just had afew people tell me that they can be harmful to the birds,i go out at night looking for them when the time comes and kept it under control but with more of the wet weather we are having struggeling to keep up with them.and as for the cats its not as much them doing there business on my garden its them killing the birds and raking up my containers and even coming into the house.i just have a small back yard made of concrete and brick so try to make the most out of it, and with the pots been dug out by the cat and the bird table in reach of them it just makes thing hard.

just a quick question for any 1,just bought some slug pellets and it dosnt say anything about if it harms the birds if they eat them after they have died,i emailed the company that produces them and they say that birds will not eat dead or dieing slugs and snails,is this true or is there answear just to fob me off
