Tortoieshell Butterflies use them. We have them everywhere in the woods here and we get tortoiseshells every year.

Lol, its very pretty, we get all sorts of unusuals bugs here. I remember watching a Hummingbird Hawkmoth last October on the Lavender.
Lettuce would be fine now, it grows fast. The Aquilegia should be fine too. A bit late for Tomatoes now, keep those for next March/April.
