Perfect planting weather today

Planted out some Polyanthus, A Helleborus niger, a Bleeding Heart, A Gorgeous Primula called 'Silver Lace', Some Asiatic Lily's and a wonderfully fragrant Garden Pink called 'Roselly Pink'

Hope everyone else is enjoying their day.

Please could someone tell me what this plant is?

Its an Iris of some kind definitely. They grow from little bulbs.

I would say it is one of the Reticulata varieties at this time of year.

Thats lovely Dove. I wish I had the enthusiasm to do that. Direct Sowing does seem like a possibility at the moment.

The ground hasnt frozen once here this Winter so I guess it would be pretty easy with this lovely weather coming.

Bird Song is enough for me. I listen to so much music whilst not gardening that it seems nicer without it
