Mine is called Astrantia Florence. My Gaillardia is just appearing too. Havent seen much sign of my Illumination Foxglove yet.

I'll go and have a look to see if I can spot it tomorrow as its the only thing yet to show its face

I only planted mine last summer, I guess as it gets older it will become stronger and stronger

90% of the flowers I grow in my garden are for wildlife. I have a few pretty ones for myself but mostly I consider what is useful for wildlife before myself.

Scotch bonnets help

 I have Scotch Bonnets amongst others in my unheated greenhouse. Minimum temp so far has been 3-4c and the plants havent batted an eyelid.

I can even see the first flower bud forming on one of my plants, I must say that my greenhouse warms up very quickly in the morning due to its location so maybe this helps.

Spotted 1 on my Hyacinth leaves yesterday, it was duly chopped in half, on the other hand I have seen a few ladybirds already this year
