Keep it evenly moist but dont let them sit in water. if your unsure just keep them a tad on the drier side.

Good thing about Daffs is that there are so many species, you could have different varieties of them for quite a few months.
Only problem is the leaves take a while to die back.
Daffodil Bulbs are very cheap and great for cutting. Slugs dont bother those
Looks like Buxus Pyramids, the pots seem awfully small and I would say they dried out over the Summer.

So its best to wait for side shoots to form before pinching?
I gave them a fresh cut at the bottom of the stem below a leaf node and put them back.
I'll leave them alone now for a while :P
