My Bishop of Llandaff Dahlia which has just started flowering. What an intense red colour

Hopefully the Dahlias have more 'eyes' to send up shoots from. If the main stem snapped, I would have thought this would stimulate the new ones

Busy Lizzies

Last few years Bedding busy lizzies have had a blight related disease so a lot of garden centres wont grow them anymore.

Snapped lily - Will it grow?

They wont produce any more flowers now if the stem has snapped unfortunately.

Leave the plant grow for the rest of the year then it will flower again next year

Thats a stunning colour chicky, the same as the one I bought for my sister last year, and a lot fuller spike than mine!

Well the plants are only a year old so I guess flowering will be much nicer next year

The lupins are just sending up some spikes, I think 1 of them is going to be red

I'll post pics of those when they appear!
