I like callies (mini petunias) these come in a wide range of colours. I find something silvery like Helichrysum works well too

That doesnt look like a Dahlia flumpy

Looks like a Japanese Anemone to me.

Ryan, if there are still leaves on the stems that snapped then cut the stem back to an inch above those, you may get some side shoots coming from them

Hopefully the Dahlias have more 'eyes' to send up shoots from. If the main stem snapped, I would have thought this would stimulate the new ones

Last few years Bedding busy lizzies have had a blight related disease so a lot of garden centres wont grow them anymore.

They wont produce any more flowers now if the stem has snapped unfortunately.

Leave the plant grow for the rest of the year then it will flower again next year
