Thing is I haven't anyone to have a race with.

Sorry delay in reply - Son came home and reported no lights upstairs, so had to fiddle with switches again. Everything went off again but fixed it quickly this time. Switchd tumble dryer off, perhaps it was that

Just has half hour of panic - no electricity for cooker and CH. Couldn't work out which switch in fuse box did what. Next door neighbour came, switched wrong one and all electricity went off. Then he Switched correct one, checked cooker, importantly CH then found we had no internet. Taken ages to get that up and running again.

Now it's pouring and a cold wind, did get in garden a bit this morning.

Keep finding stuff that doesn't start again - latest was tumble dryer. Probably clocks next, son will have a shock when he comes home from work.

Now have to work out what tripped switch in first place!

Have just gone back through endless pages to find Jo's rissole recipe. It's on 771 if anyone else is interested. Have now written it down in my book, it's made of paper and you use a pen to write on the paper, for those who are kindling mad

Welcome back Becks, made a mistake earlier

New fence has ruined my garden, please help!

had a long new fence and found this an interesting way of splitting it up. I used chestnut fencing, already wired to gether. I have not put climbers on all of it - cost - but it does detract from the bareness of the fence and is a quick fix.

I did it early last year, you can just see 2 and there is a third further along the fence. The plants are new this year.I am going to do another if the garden dries out.

Oh Busy lizie I had one of those as a mothers day present last year. It looks lovely - how long has it taken to mature to that stage? There are a few buds.
