Oh Becks I do hope you both get well soon.

Yo-yo and a lollipop

All this talk of the advent calender made me pop back to make sure I had pressed submit. I had

Have just removed rickety book shelf to garage despite OH moans. Amazing how much more spacious it all looks and I now have somewhere to put my bird food as well as  boxes of corms and agapaanthus that willl be frost free. Thing is now I have to clean windows as they are now within reach and can be seen

What's the weather like in your area?

Cold and very bright, the sort of day you feel the garden needs you but can't walk on grass. May go out later and clear leaves, at the moment a never ending job

We thought there may be snow on top of the hills this morning but they are clear.

When I planted my fruit trees I read - RHS book- to take the blossom off the first year so that they concentrate on root growth and structure. It was sad pulling off the open blossoms. Last year, their 2nd year, I had blossom and a small crop of apples, no pears though, and they seem to be really well rooted and stong.

Because I am growing some as cordons and a couple as pyramid shape I do a late summer prune. I will cut off top when weather warms up in early spring from plum

Morning All

Hope Becks is feeling better. Maybe Docs as you don't want it lingering on for Birthday and Christmas.

Lovely chicks Geoff though I must admit photos are as close as I want to get.

Choc - Christmas tree

Good luck Jean, it gets very emotional - Mother stuff still needs sorting. Skip is the best place to trash memories you don't want.

Had to give up till really late last night on the Forum. Also had some ilayer I wanted to see and that was a blank too. Like the advent calender prize today. In fact I've liked ALL adventcalender prizes

I See we still have the same old faces.

I take them - the ones that say extra and always put some honey in them not taste as bad. But then could be your taste is iffy at moment.

Have to rememebr though that you can't take other stuff with lemsip. Now I can sleep when I need to if not well. Spent first 10 years of children totally sleep deprived, especially when unwell!!

Realised tonight  after I thought I had done last amazon order that have not anthing for daughters partner - whoops - back to big thinks again

Think I'll change my avatar tomorrow as long as internet OK
