Have been out today covering plants and protecting my 2 olive trees as it is cold and bright and will be colder tomorrow with 'wintry showers'. We still have road closures in this area from the flooding but not as bad as other parts of country.

I have a clematis montana, it was plantde in the spring and now the leaves have dropped am surprised at its progress. It will ramble up through a lilac eventually. it's a pink one

had some books and baby toys off Amazon today so I guess Christmas is actually on the way. OH got 'Christmas' down from the loft as well.

My one was a freebie from some offer or other, the other this year was from Morrisons - a gift at jubilee time. I would have thought any garden centre etc. Just keep looking

Thanks for suggestions. Will research tomorrow more cartoon books

Dog can fill room with 'warm' smells especially when he's really relaxed

Cat s just joined him in front of fire. She's lying on her back with her paws bent on her tummy. very contented. Much like avatar picture.. Shame to distirb them with feeding time really!

Just a comic. Mad looks a good idea. Can you still get it?

Fire's lit, dog's snoring in front of it. When he gets too hot he just turn s his bum to the fire!!
