Tangents are fine. They make me laugh especially need them as imprisoned in house,

Thanks Dean. I have one Ruby Ball growing but was the only one that has grown to matury. Very old seed. So thought I'd try something else. From your picture it doesn't look too big, just what I want.

Glass of something is good after a long hard day. and to watch some total rubbish on TV, stuff you don't have to think about

Have decided I need to get another seed box/tin/ something and keep flowers and veg seeds seperate. May cause less chaos at sowing time. Anyone know a decent, not enormous variety of red cabbage?

We put up new bird feeder last week. very successful. Moved the older smaller one from that place and now it keeps falling over. As it's now under oak wonder if squirrels are doing flying jumps onto it for nuts

We use Virgin media - i agree seems expensive but never had any trouble with it.

Back to seed packets and catalogues. Still have foot up, it's so boring sitting here!

Hi all

Just spent morning sorting through seeds I have and where spaces are that I need to purchase. and chucking old ones. Went to Harroate Flower show and then Malvern Autumn show (of course) as a result have loads of freebie seeds, but of course, does leave spaces. As 2 of you have said 'Hurst Greenshaft' is a good pea I will give it a go.

never grown squash before and hope to have an extra bed in new year - I have raised beds,- for squash, cougettes, etc. hope they don't grow too large!

Thanks for help. Any other suggestions greatfully received.

Those peas look amazing, Pam
