I thought Brucie was going on 'holiday'!

No fireworks so far tonight

Had flu jab on Wednesday. Had to pay - last year went to Boots cost me £15. This year went to local chemist cost me £9.95. Got sore arm now, sore throat and runny nose.

Cavity wall insulation. Make sure you take large pictures off wall. Vibration when drilling damaged an antique cow when ancient parent had it donePicture fell off wall). We have it here, was in when we moved. House is certainly warm and cosy - got burner lit now as well

You've all been very busy on here tonight. and I've only knitted 2 rows - very slow knitter!!

SCD now. can watch it - allowed

No fungi of the day?

I agree with Lottie, it reminds me of my 3 as well. and the strange conversations we used to have, all going off at a tangent at the same time.  perhaps thats why i enjoy Forkers.

Trying to cook banana cake. New recipe and taking far longer than directions said. Did throw in a handful of blueberries that were out ofdate as well. So we may have pudding.

My friend decided to be child free. She is very happy and I think i many ways is closer to her OH. It's good, I don't feel sorry for her, it is her choice and it suits her. What's more she's seen a lotmore of the world (sigh)

Any way just put up a new bird feeder, ended up with more nigra seeds on patio than in feeder. See what the birds think about it later.

Planted wallflowers.

Then with my trusty but ancient Gardeners World trug loaded with bulbs planted, tulips, alliums and native Daffs. Still more to do, including a giant spider thing - eremurus. I think not all native daffs will grow but will give it a try.

I guess Titchmarsh will have to go on his winter holidays to the garage if this cold weather keeps up!

my one cat is called Inkie. She is mostly white with a black tail, nose and one ear. She also has a black spot on one side. Looks like she has been splashed with ink!

Sorry no photo at present.
