Putting OH down and he doesn't deserve it. He is in process of digging new flower bed for me - nearly finished . He digs big holes for large plants, rakes , mows tidies, chops wood. And for last couple of years has done most of cooking, cleaning and chauffering. But does grumble all time!!!

Guess I'm spoilt really.

Toffee apple muffins:

Wow to me - managed to post without shout for help. i did leave out pecans as you never know with nut allergies and children

I had thought of doing that withthe bulbs and then could bury pots in spring till flowering over. Got alliums as wellso will give them a go as well. OH very unimpressed with gardening but likes to use a mower!!!

t moment foot beginningto come back to life and not a pleasant sensation. OUCH!!!!

Just posted a message, as I did flashed up web site not available so no message posted.

Got to remember what i wrote.-

Jo when i go swimming, it is a group of 'crocks' with bodies that don't work properly. one of the folk i talk to has just finished chemo and her feet, especially the toes don't feel  The swim we go to has a nurse, physio's and a swimming instructor and have just been nominated for some sort of award.

Great fun too.

We are spread about with media - BT phone, Virgin broadband, Freeview TV. It may pay us to - here's another one-  put all our eggs in one basket, but I think it all works why change it.

What's the weather like in your area?

Thanks Jean for putting foot on a positive note.

My foot problem has been going on for nearly 2 years now and I am very fed up with it.  It is very restricting with activities and social life. Have to rely on OH if I want to go anywhere

Still have bulbs to plant etc.

Dull, cold and windy here.

Bonfire ashes getting blown about.

Thanks for that tip about fuchsia cuttings Jo. I have a lovely hardy one in the ground i really don't want to lose so will have ago at a cutting, though never had much success in past.

Morning all - back from hospital. I thought they might say don't want to see you again (wishful thinkingnon my part), had a big injection in my foot- he said no gardening for 48 hours, and no jumping, landing on it for 8 weeks. No driving just as I'd started doing it again.  Later today will need pain killers Doc said

Bonfire was agreat success. All except usual 2 houses turned up. No 1 apologised for the portaloos. They thought they would go in back garden and said they were embarssed  Toffee apple muffins were a great success.
