Plenty of pallets in my garden - long way to transport them though!

No news on wedding front - sorry all a bit boring

Just double checking all I post now

Cooked Tarte Tatin MaryBerry style. Pastry takes ages. OH was waiting for temper tantums, caramel that doesn't set etc but this was me cooking not TV stuff so no mistakes. Mind you still in oven, and never made it before,

Question though how do you clean caramel off saucepan

I grew Princess Irene last year - never been that keen on tulps - they were amazing, real wow factor just as rest of garden is just about coming to life.

Tonight we are having shoulder of pork cooked from a recipe by John Torode - very slow cooked in a garlic, paprika, lemon marinade. Not done before, saw recipe and thought YUM

with cauliflower, potatoes, carrot. To follow a Mary Berry Tarte Tatin, as in programme earlier in week, 1/2 quantities

Son is here tonight so always try to do a decent meal for him.

No real news on wedding front. Cars - not that many all tidily parked.

Just spent a while being amused by birds. There are all the little ones pecking and fluttering to get at the seed and there is wood pigeon calmly walking in a circle around all this activity picking up the seeds they are sending in his direction

OH  - no bread today/

What's the weather like in your area?

Malvern

Rain first thing but now wind as droppped, sun has come out and it surprisingly warm. Washing on the line but ground too wet to plant my remaining tulip bulbs

See Kate didn't give much of plot away at all.

Small sink pond

Hi Well that answered a question I have, I have just startd a pond ina galvanised tin bath. All summer I kept an expensive pygmy water lily alive in a bright orange B&Q bucket - even had flowers but now what doi do? It's water lily leaves. Do i let them be in the water or remove them bfore they decompos too much. The lily is now in the bath not the bucket.
