I have Oscar, a lovely cross between border collie and springer spaniel. He is quite mad. See Forkers post. he was a rescue, came with a rediculous name so we sat down and shouted names at him till he responded

2 cats neither of which i have by choice - white with bit of black and was daughters, when she left home, left cat

Then Sophie, fluffy, one eyed, black and white who was my ma's and so had to be adopted. Not a pleasant cat!!!

Internet really slow today.

Just sorted out and 1/4 filled my new bin, then rummaged in bin  to de-compose and pulled out some of those little red worms and introduced them to new bin. I hope they'll be happy.

Dog created a stir as I was sweeping leaves on patio. bent down to put pile in bucket when a woof and a crash. He is so naughty when he sees a broom, he tried to run off with it, Large Fuschia pot got in way and was rescued just before it hit ground, somehow dog (Oscar) got broom handle under said pot. He actually put his tail down for a few seconds then went charging off to find a bally!!

Must be clearing up, can see lower half of hills - first time since Sunday

I  jought it was gardening shoes, gloves are - well.....

New flowers to recommend

I am very disappointed with my buddleia buzz 'Lavender'. it has looked scrappy and messy all season and although has put on plenty of growth to be honest looks like wild ones you see by railway tracks. Am considering disposing of it.

Great success was some annual rudbeckia - still in flower now and somany lovely shades of rust and yellow

I've done it - driven the car for the first time since April 2011. Now to see how foot reacts during the day. Over reved a bit on starts but that's just practise, went slowly - never used to- and managed to park ina car park.

Realy grim again. Little weather box says 'dark cloud '  just fog, damp and unpleasant really.

After lunch am going to sort out new compost bin. At one time getting excited over such a thing would be a no, no.

Looked for a creenhouse fumigater but only one I saw required moving all plants out. Just spent a week putting plants in! Any one know another one.?

Has anyone received their November 2012 issue yet?

Finally watched GW without fallling asleep. Is it me or was there not really much content. Longer programme would be so much better - I know discussed before. I'd have more time to go to sleep as well!!!
