My dad had pre-op assesment yesterday and hopefully his op will be next week. Trying not to worry too much, hes not having a general anaesthetic so should be able to come home the same day. When he has had this op it will help with the blood flow through the carotid artery. Dont think i would like my throat cut and being awake at the same time.

Not planning on doing much today apart from tackling the bathroom, who keeps making it so dirty?

No private club

I have several in my front lawn, but i dont wory too much as i can weed the beds from the paths. When i ve been out there with the lawn mower i do notice there are more birds around. Other than that i would use boilig water.

The poor little blackbird that my dear cat Lennie caught died today. I had been nursing it using a tiny syringe to give it water and cat food. Very upsetting. We have a local animal charity that will come and collect them. They are taken to a large aviary and when they are big enough they are set free. Hope its the only one this year.

My poor dad is at the hospital now seeing a vascular surgeon, in the past week he has had 2 TIA's. They have found a narrowing in his carotid artery so will need yet more surgery. About 6 years ago he survived bowel cancer, renal failure and then had 2 stents put into 1 of the arteries to his heart. We are all very worried

More blue n yellow

All colours welcome in my garden but my favourite is blue. Hoping my delphiniums will survive this year.
