When i was very little my mum and dad had panted the garden with lots of daffodil bulbs, it was their first proper garden. One spring morning my mum opened the door to admire all her flowers. I had already been out there and picked the lot and hid them in the side passage. She wasnt best pleased to say the least and all my dad could was laugh. When i left school i trained to be a florist, couldnt really be anything else could i.

Same here, couldnt find anything to use them so sadly they went in the bin. Perhaps we should suggest to the compenies to try and make them re-usable in some way.

What's the weather like in your area?

I started off some chilli, tomato and cucumber seeds in a propagater ( is it an o or an e at the end?) within a week they are all germinated and now sitting on the bathroom window ledge. Never known them to be that quick.

Well done martymower, all i could manage with pallets was a compost bin. I am building a bug hotel at the bottom of the garden. Its still a work in process.

I was given a bag of odds and ends of wool so habe taught myself to knit and have knitted a teapot 2 cups and saucers and 4 cup cakes. They have an odd catergory at the allotment show so maybe i will enter them. The cakes are calorie free.
