I started off some chilli, tomato and cucumber seeds in a propagater ( is it an o or an e at the end?) within a week they are all germinated and now sitting on the bathroom window ledge. Never known them to be that quick.

Well done martymower, all i could manage with pallets was a compost bin. I am building a bug hotel at the bottom of the garden. Its still a work in process.

I was given a bag of odds and ends of wool so habe taught myself to knit and have knitted a teapot 2 cups and saucers and 4 cup cakes. They have an odd catergory at the allotment show so maybe i will enter them. The cakes are calorie free.

Morning fellow forkers. Todays topis is my s.......g roof. Half of the £5000 is work on the roof. I chimney to be taken down and then the hole in the roof to be filled in, i chimney to be rerendered. The other £2.500 is the work to be done indoors because the roof had been leaking and we hadnt realised. Insurance company told me i should have got up on the roof myself to make sure it was all ok. How daft. We are now waiting for another quote to arrive. Needless to say it is raining and there is more water coming in. Right im off to put up shelves in the utility room. I maybe some time.
