Posted: 15/03/2013 at 16:27

Have thought about getting these but still wondering. It looks like the tomatoes would have a bigger root ball which hopefully would stop the dammed things falling over. maybe i will give them a go and then one of us will know for sure

I live in Worthing so not from Brighton. I love my garden and wish the weather was a bit warmer so i could get out there. Back and front gardens arent big but i manage to grow all that i want and i do have an allotment, where i grow everthing i possibly can.

The sun has appeared occasionaly today. The frogs have covered the pond in frogspawn so it is warm enough for something.

I'm also a florist or was before i had to give it up for health reasons. I cant stand dahlias, i remember as a saturday girl i had to clear out the buckets that had had dahlias in all week. The stink was awful, even thinking about it i can smell them. I love flowers but they are better in the garden.

The local police agreed to have barbed wire put on top of an 8 foot fence, so the b****** now come armed with wire and bolt cutters. The powers that be then planted very spiky blackberry brambles all around the perimeter, the next time the council came to mow the paths guess what, they cut down all the bushes. At the moment there are big discussions on going over to be self managing as the council dont want the responsibilty any more. What they plan for security im still waiting to find out. Watch this space
