I ahev 3 cats a British Blue  who was given to me as he has a curly tail so couldnt have a pedigree. Hes called Grendle after the monster in Beowolf as he is a monster. What he lacks in brains he makes up in brawn. just a thu g really.

My other 2 cats are a brother and sister, Lennie and Elvera. She is a tortoiseshell named after the naughty ghost in Blithe Spirit because she can be naughty. Lennie is a ginger tom who is frightened of his own shadow, a real wimp.

I love them all but i dont like the remains of mice left for me.

Bangers and mash tonight. My nieces when they were little called it bash. not very exciting but it goes down well.

Hate dahlias i know they are very pretty but whilst i worked in a florist back in the dark ages it was my job to empty the buckets that had had dahlas in them all week. The stink was awful, i can still conjure up the smell now. That and bindweed

Was really grey and dreary this morning but now the sun is out. Temperature is going down but it wont be so damp so the arthritis should be better. Well i live in hope

Guess what the sun has come out. Where has it been hiding all this time. Have been and had the hair cut and coloured so no more grey for a while anyway. I also call lurgy,s lurgy. Is it a regional thing do you thnk. Mr sainsbury has delivered early today so i might treat the bathroom to a clean. I do lead an exciting life

I love the acers, mine is turning a very dark pinky red. So beautiful. Think i might get another one next year. Enjoy the forest of dean David
