Nice and sunny today but a b...... cold wind blowing. Went to allotment and managed to plant onion sets before i got too cold to do anymore. Rain for tomorrow i think

It seems to be all dried fruit at the moment and apriclts are definately the worst. Thankyou for all your lovely ideas i will need to investigate further. Shepherds pie was so good we are having it again tonight, i made enough to feed the street.

Luckily the cats i have at present dont mind fireworks, which is good as they have been going onfor about 2 weeks already. One of them actually sits on the window ledge to watch them but he is a cat with very little brain.

I do like chocolate so that could be an option. Thankyou. My Nan used to make one during the war when there was no dried fruit around, she is no longer with us or the recipe

I also found a sprirea in the garden when we moved here. I hacked it to pieces and it still grows but i must admit the hacking did it some good and it is rather pretty now. I also have the tiny daisy Erigeron and that grows everywhere which i love.It looks lovely all around my front door. Ive even noticed it has spread round the corner in to the next road.

What a beautiful horse, i would love to be able to ride. One day i will pluck up thje courage to do it, have to be careful with the back. Thankyou to everyone who replid to my thread i find other peoples pet names brillant

Have actually got my self in to gear today and cooled a proper dinner all from scratch. A lovely shepherds pie is awaiting in the oven. Will serve it with homegrown runner beans that are in the freezer.

Has anyone got a recipe for a christmas pudding that has no dried fruit in????? I have IBS abd this year it has decided it doesnt like dried fruit of any kind which is a shame as i love christmas pudding

Sunny worthing today. One forcast says tomorrow morning will be dry, if so will go to allotment the other forcast says rain in which case i will stay home and catch up on some sewing
