Rain again today. My birthday tomorrow so hoping the sun will shine for a while at least.

Beautiful sunshine again but the wind is chilly. Living on the south coast keeps us a bit cooler. No gardening today have had treatment for my arthritic back and neck so feelin ga bit crap. Wil be at the alotment tomorrow the weeds wait for no-one.

bolting onions

Im in the same boat. We use a lot of onoins so planted loads at least half are bolting. The garlic seems to be behaving.

Congratulations. Loved your garden. Was at Chelsea on weds the sun had brought out all the flowers and it looked perfect. Well done

South coast beautiful sunshine with a few clouds. Girlie on the local radio reckons we will get rain this afternoon. If it does it will save me going to allotment to water.I shall end up with muscles like Popeye keep heaving wateing cans of water to and fro. Better than fat arms i guess.

Love my alliums seem to muliply year after year or maybe i just plant more. Have things coming up in the garden that i have no idea how they got there. Must be my age!!!!!

Hello obelixx, Hope you had a good trip to chelsea mum and and i had a brilliant day, finished off with a train breaking down and trains home cancelled. Hope you had a better journey.Loved all the gardens apart from the pile of scaffolding but i suppose it gets noticed and people talking. Saving up for next year now

Sunshine today so going to take the plunge and plant out the rest of my plants at the allotment. Have got sweetcorn, courgettes, beans and butternut squash. Might wait a few more days before the tomatoes go out there. The chap who has the plot next to me ( a well seasoned gardener) put his toms out about 6 weeks ago, needless to say all he has are stalks. Much too cold for the plants and me.

Is anyone else going to Chelsea? This will be my 10th year and looking forward to it just as much. Go up to London on the train ots a long day but i do love it
