hi, I suggest cutting the plants down as far as poss to soil level, as any green leaf would aid photosynthesis. could you then dig out the plant and remaining roots, or cover with weed suppressing plastic, or old carpet,
it would be interesting to see what others say.
The leaves look like pulmonaria to me.
I love the path, and those tulips are stunning colours.

What about a garden share?
if you would permit someone with no garden to use some of your space for growing veg etc, they may help sort out the mess?
Hi I use Niger and sunflower hearts, with suet in winter.
i get loads of visitors.
this year for the first time a mistlethrush visits the garden, and a wren is nesting in the ivy on the house.
i would like at know what is the quickest way to read a post when it is approx 6500.
i usually scroll through numerous pages to get to post, but I assume there must be a quicker way?

clematis like roots in shade, is there any sun?
Roses need a few hours of sunlight, but some do grow in shade.
have the clematis shoots been eaten by slugs?
