hi all, I have 2 peonys in different locations, they have been there for 2 years, leaves but no blooms, so I guess from reading the abouve, I should wait another year or so?
i hang out sunflower hearts, niger seeds and nuts. i have to refill every 2 days. goldfinch, bullfinch, sparrow or wren, im not sure. blue tits and robins. feral pigeons and squirrles plus resident robin. all very entertaining.
goldfinches started coming to my garden when i started to hang out niger seed.
i also leave all seed heads insitu, i dont do tidy!
this is the 3rd year I have had a pyracanta, and this is the first year it has flowered.
i have never pruned it, it is situated in a shady area, beneath a large magnolia, but i gave it a good mulch with manure in spring,
what about mint?
my mother told me that keeping a pot of mint in the kitchen deters flies
hi daintiness and Sara 4, that was quick.
yes I popped them, they were gelatinous and squidgy.
hi all. i planted a fuschia, which i had overwintered in a shed. when i emptied out the plant and inspected the soil, their were clusters of small, white, round jelly consistency globules, which i think maybe snails eggs. I removed them, but im not sure if they are friend or foe. Does anyone have any advice please?
