Are Morrisons bulbs any good ??

The only thing I would say is make sure to buy plants that have been recently brought into the store. Plants don't like being inside the store with the heating for long. And this applies to all places that are not garden centres, not just Morrisons

I wouldn't cut the stems off, as they're also a way to photosynthesise and feed the bulb for next year. Just remove the flowers to avoid them setting seed and wait for the stems and leaves to die before deciding if you want to lift the bulbs or leave them in the ground
