Does my rose need moving

Posted: 12/07/2015 at 16:18

I planted several roses last year but one of them hasn't so much as a single bud on! Sorry I have no idea what it is called, the foliage seems fine but no flowers. Should I relocate it? it could be that it hasn't enough room to spread out, or am I being impatient and perhaps it will do better next year?

Hi, does anyone have any suggestions/receipes for my roses once I have dead headed? Does anyone make their own rose oil? I always feel so guilty if I just throw them out  thanks

Could you elaborate on 'pollinating with a brush' and 'rubbing' them out please?

Hi, I have just noticed my 'varigated' pink weigelia is virtually all green now  is there anything I can do to revert it back or does this happen when they get older?

Sorry, I neglected to mention I have them in pots in the conservatory which yesterday reached up to a  temperature of 100degrees, so do I also have to spray them to keep them to keep them cool?

Stopping pepper plants

Having just 'stopped' my tomatoes I was wondering about peppers. I have never grown peppers before and was wondering, am I supposed to only have so many 'trusses' ( if so how many?) and also, should I be doing any pinching out and stopping?   thanks

Hi, me again with tomato questions. My plants are are now just over 4ft high with lots of flowering branches (are they called trusses?) they have baby toms, approx thumbnail size on some. My question now is, am I supposed to stop them getting too tall? I thought I read somewhere that they should only have a certain amount of flowering trusses and then be 'stopped' if that is the case and mine have too many does it reduce my crop?
