Pittosporum

Thanks Dove, Sorry I thought I read they grew much bigger than that! but if Verdun says they are happy being kept, then that should be fine. It is just my usual problem of putting things up on my 'banked' area where they are already up on a three foot high wall so I have to factor that in, otherwise it's all going on on top (if you see what I mean)    Thanks to Verdun also.

I am considering purchasing a Pittosporum , possibly an 'Elizabeth'  as I love the variegated colouring but I have noticed that 'Pitto's' tend too grow pretty big. I was wondering, are they fast growers? is it possible to keep them under control? or could anyone recommend anything similar but not as big?

Thanks for replies, I was hoping to use Verdones lawn weed killer (no feed) is that ok?

Could anyone tell me if it is ok to use lawn weed killer at the moment, considering it has been so mild and some people are still mowing. Thanks

Gardening Footwear

Can anyone tell me if they know where I might get a pair of good 'old fashioned' rubber gardening 'clogs'. I would like to replace my old ones but I am not a fan of these lightweight croc-type materials which is what the g/c and indeed most people seem to be stocking now. I realise it is because they are lighter but I actually prefer the weight of mine. Thanks

My Crysanth's are now out but seemed to have changed colour! I have had this happen before with other plants . They are yellow at the moment but that is not the original colour. Will they ever revert back ?   Thanks
