Hi Bev
Thanks for your help
When you say Fed will putting slow release granules in with the compost be enough feeding or would give a liquid feed also ?
Sorry for being a pest with all the questions but I just want to try and get it right oh and hopefully better baskets than the neighbours .

Hi daisy
Thanks for your reply
I think i'll wait another 2-3 weeks and put them into the baskets hung up in the greenhouse.
Sorry to ask you for more advice but will 4 tubers in a 14" basket be enough or would you add another ? They are all at least 3" diameter.
I would love to have 2-3 baskets like the ones they have in town each year ,you can't see the baskets for the amount flowers .
I got the tubers from the same supplier so fingers crossed
Thanks again for your tips
Mike.

Hi This being my first year with a garden i seem to be asking for help and advice every other day ( Hope someone can help I Built a cone shaped trellis roughly 3ft at the ground to 6-7" at the top with 6ft bamboo canes and wrapped it with strong nylon netting and planted approx 15 pea plants round it. All growlng well and i have been tying to the canes as they grew. All are nearly at the top and 2 - 3 are just above Do you pinch the tops to stop them getting any higher or let the just grow ? All the plants seem very healthy and lush but no flowers or pea pods Any tips would be very welcomed Thanks Mike.

Thicken up a lawn

Hi This is my first go at gardening. I laid a new turf lawn 1 year ago. It has been looking really good until approx 2 months ago when we had a little warm spell and i decided to give it a scarify as i thought it dead grass ? I think it just needed to be given a feed to green it up a bit. I have fed since and its looking quite green and lush from a distance. Close up its a bit thin and patchy. Would putting some seed on help or will it eventually thicken its self ? . Any tips or advice would be very much appreciated Thanks Mike.
