Home-made compost

Hiya! Just looking for the compost recipe on here and saw this on Projects: The Basics: How to make compost - which is Monty Don's recipe! Hope this helps!

We make our compost in a similar way to most of you - we also add our shredded paper and loo roll holders - trying to ensure that the ratio is even with the "green". We've also "made" the liquid plant food from nettles - but not too sure how to deliver the feed - at the roots or over the leaves,!!

Hi everyone! We're finally enjoying our autumn years, and instead of buying plants each year we're looking to save money and enjoy gardening further. I'm a great fan of Carol Klein and the way she explains how to propagate plants.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> We have sweet williams in our front garden and would love to know if we can get new plants from these, or how to get their seeds? Can you help please?

I'm new here and hope this is the right place to ask my question! I have an old wheelbarrow (minus it's wheel) which is quite rusty! Is it ok to plant in in this state or should I treat it? If I need to treat it what should I do?
