Becks, so often that is sadly the case with these so called " .tours".If you do ever get the chance to go to Edinburgh I would say a little bit of reaearch and you could do your own ghost tour no expense spaird!  Just beware of spirits/ghouls by the name of geoff! !! Speedos were popular in the 18th Century!

Hi Lottie ( sorry forgotten your real name, although I do read you postings all the time). Helllo .  Hello Becks. Its so expensive for my sisters ( 4 of them) to get to me as flights/ ferrys are really expensive ,I am fortunate that I can fly from the Island to Edinburgh reasonably cheap as I can get residence discount on my flights, not that much cheaper though,  will still cost me about £ 110 .

Becks now you love ghost storys,I so wish I could sit down with you and tell you all about the house that I grew up in, in Edinburgh when I was younger and we actually lived in  a   house with a ghost, well it was more like a  living spirit, the lady  made her pressence well known to us. She moved  things around, moved from room to room, all that stuff!! In the early days my mum and dad slept with a axe under the bed butas time went on ( over 20 years) we all got used to her and  her weird ways and she became a part of the family. Sadly we left the house, whilst we were packing she made her pressence known to us in many weird ways!

Hello everyone, not been here for a while, just managing to pop in to to the forum every now and again to read what you have all been up too...... As  usual ,  as I read you are all having a jolly good time!!! I've forgetten how to change my avater picture  so still stuck with the Halloween theme!  Will work on trying to change that tomorow. A running  theme with  me ... I have applied for yet another job on the Island so fingers crossed  yet again!! Its so difficult to get a nursing job when all they want is experience!! but how do you get experience when no  one will give you a job?! Grrrrrrrrrrr.. .. Any way on a happy note I have booked my flights to Edinburgh for Xmas with my family, not seen them all for 3 months so looking forward to that.  Ho Ho HO.

Kate its not cold...... Its absolutley Baltic! Snow yesterday and some flurrys today! But nothing we cant handle, its going to get alot worse as usual! Hope you feel better soon.Keep warm.

It was 50p between four of them, enough for a sherbit dip dap each! I dont mind gysers as long as they make an effort. My mum used to make our outfits, carve out turnips for our lanterns and we would sing at the door ... Halloweens coming the geese are getting fat please put a penny in the old mans hat, if you haven't got a penny a hapenney will do if you hav'nt got a happenney god bless you!  We made an absolute fortune. Happy days!

Hello fellow ghosts and ghouls! Not been here for a while but have been trying to keep up with all the posts. . Lots been happening recently with me, but thankfully things are  on the up again. . Didn't get the job that I wanted, however i've had work doing the flu jab clinic at the local health centre for the past month. Been jabbing 40+ patients per day, its been nice to have a break for a while from the sometimes stressfull ward environment. 

Had a couple of gysers tonight at the door, do tracksuits class as fancy dress costumes!? I dont think so!.... gave them 50p and told them to come back when they get proper halloween costumes!!! I will be the talk of the neighbourhood Im sure.

 Permission to uncross for the time being geoff. Interview is 15th Sept, a bit away yet. Still have my holiday to portugal before this .

When is dallas the revival starting? Will bobby appear out of the shower again? Will Sue ellen still be a raving alcoholic? And what about Cliff? Did he throw himself over a cliff over Sue ellen?

Well I do know some of the other candidates... In fact its the majority of  the girls ( and boys) that I did my trainning with .. but this is the case with every post that comes up! We are normally chuffed if one of us at least gets the job and not an incomer!.. But this job is mine .. I want it !  I have a short skirt if need be!

I have just been given the hunger games, not sure what they are about , its a trilogy , think that means there is three of them  . But apparantly they are very popular! and a film has already been made, but does not involve a shark, flying ladies with brollies or plastic toys.
