Wow! I will have a look at that.

I was messing around on YouTube earlier, looking up some Banana videos, and there were quite a few videos on Dragon Fruits on there.  There were ones from germination to aftercare. (I was also looking at coffee plants! Would love to try a coffee plant! )

No exotic fruit growing experts on the forum?

July in the garden!!

Yeah, exactly. She's a skinny little thing anyway. It's her first year. But she's throwing up some lovely new shoots at the moment, so she's alive and well.

Ok Gary. Thankyou. Mine suffered from leaf miners a couple of weeks ago, which I removed them leaves, and really don't want to remove anymore! The poor thing would be naked.

None of the others have bothered me, just that blue unfolding one. Hopefully it will be swapped soon.

Gary, do you mind me asking what the orangy/brown colouring is on your strawberry plant leaves in the top picture. A couple of leaves on my baby plant have started like that, but as yours are fruiting, I presume it is nothing to worry about?

No, I haven't, but it is something that would interest me as I would like to try to do them as well. I am currently trying to germinate Musa Acuminata (Dwarf Banana), and it's only been 3 weeks so far, but it can take months for them to germinate apparently.

I will keep an eye on this thread to see what other posters say, and save the thread for info.

Well done you for getting them germinated though!

LOL Charlotteg. That blue one that 'unfolds' is annoying me at the minute, but as with all sites, they bring in extra revenue for the site. I don't mind that.

LOL Lilly!! Think we'd better go and sit in a corner with dunces hats on! I know I need to!

Isn't a thankyou in order?

sotongeoff, it has been my username on many sites for a few years now. Since my 3 year old came along, my sleep patterns are not what they were, in fact, sleep is very minimal. When the sun goes down, I'm in my element! I'm a nightowl through and through! I will check out that thread later. It looks a big one! I love innocent ramblings!

I will also check out your thread David! We have mainly planted edibles this year as a 'practice' run, but my front garden is a blank canvas which I have to play with! It is totally grass, which I am planning to redesign. So planning now for next year is ideal!

Thankyou both. xx
