Salvianemorosa 'Ostfriesland' Sage

Posted: 10 September 2012
Overall: Very pretty and grows even when dried and crispy.I bought my for 50p each reduced at Homebase.(The pots were worth that!)A jolly good soaking, a haircut and planting in the soil they are now fighting fit and blooming well. Smells like sage.

Phygelius x rectus 'African Queen' Cape fuchsia

Posted: 10 September 2012
Overall: I had this in a container with lobelia and others. I have now moved it into the main bed and it seems to like both pretty well. Salmony pink flowers and lush green leaves. A relative of the Fuschia family. Also know as Devil's Tears

Galega officinalis Goat's rue

Posted: 10 September 2012
Overall: I love this miniature Sweet-Pea.Delicate and dainty with pale lilac flowers.
Mine is about 2" high and is green and lush with all the rain we've had. Dead heading creates more flowers elsewhere on the plant. This is in my cottage garden.
