Anyone done any gardening today - Version 2

Posted: 28/03/2016 at 15:30

Started to clear / tidy the bottom of the garden in the kids unused play area (almost unused!)  . Moved all ugly old flag/stepping stones (which were multifunctional for kids to play on whilst kepting shoes clean and feet off plants) all now behind the shed and I've put all unused pots, buckets etc on them.Bit more weeding in general. Found a spot for Acer Butterfly, which has been struggling in a pot for a couple of years. Tidied area behind bench, planted some lamina to see if it will take. Pondered over a new greenhouse. Come in for a bath before going to mums. Weather not too bad.

Evening all,

well done on your Makaton signing Clari  . (Twitter link worked a treat) .

Slight differences in how we sign but that's quite normal.

Who provides your training? And can we get 'insideinformation' on which signs are coming up on the next Makaton Mondays? oooo, can we make suggestions?

Thoughts as with everyone for those affected by the bombings. Glad you are safe Obelixx.

Dont think I've even seen the garden today

Phew, thought I was gonna loose my post!

...museum great for everyone. Plenty of non tech activities and interaction (proper play rather than freaking me out as I try to work tech stuff out, many museums spoilt by this), loads of vehicles to clamber (err gently) around on, good displays ( not that son was keen on them) and the real life scenes and sounds were brill! Fancied a snack but choice was very poor, nice cofffee though n son enjoyed sausage roll and cake!

Cant view video, sorry.

No gardening, went to mums after, stayed longer as she's not well.

CLARI hi! We missed you, you must have been hiding - or maybe you were the patient in the ambulance - my son to thank for your recovery, I have a nice picture of him stroking your brow. I did keep an eye out in case I could guess who you are. We had a fab day, only there an hour but he ran at top speed everywhere! You must have heard him! He was the one with Down's syndrome and big massive oops from me  I'd forgotten it was world Down's syndrome week , no odd socks for us .

Enjoyed the new museum app. Son did some CPR with the lovely heart foundation chap and his dummy, dressed up as a policeman, got locked in a police car and then in a cell! A really good museum.

Morning all.

Dry and still out there, bit overcast - could go either way later.

Son has decided we are going to Clari's place of work today! Or was it Clari that moved on to a new job? Its not far so leaves time to get in the garden too.
