HELLO FORKERS!

Sounds like some nice planting and planning is going on here today

All I've done is cut the grass after work. Not got any energy left  to do the edges even though they are in desperate need

Got all sorts of unlabelled things in pots, many are half dead. I just don't know where to start with them all or how big they will grow, if I will like them, but can't find it in my heart to bin em and concentrate on what I know I'm happy with .

my rhododendron is looking nice again, well the flowers are (the leaves didn't recover), euphoria fire glow is perking up nicely too

Well I'm back, can't say I'm in one piece, didn't go to Harlow Carr, just the cycling  and way way too far! Even the hot tub hasn't sorted me out. Maybe a glass to celebrate Evie and OH anniversary  well done and congrats. Once home I did unravel a clematis Montana so I could take it out of its pot and plant it in the ground, it behaved very well. Trying to cut out some grass to extend a bed beat me though, it'll wait for another day. night all.

Pleasant enough morning but trying not to be grumpy! Yesterday I promised OH we'd go for a family bike ride today, but then saw Harlow Carr have a rhododendron show on today so have tried unsuccessfully to wriggle out of the biking. At least it wont take too long and I might get some garden time later when it's raining

Hosta your bed sounds amazing

Have a good day wonky and dove and all the rest of you

Yvie, thanks yes it's  Hosta, we are going to Japan in January so thought Thai was a reasonable start, not very brave where 'sushi' is concerned but it's gonna have to happen , until then I'll keep having a go at other random recipes.

Yvie, sounds like a perfect day - especially after watching it on GW.

Made Pad Thai tonight, can't remember whos favourite it is on here, but s/he convinced me to try it, and it was marvellous

Lilac tree is in its glory, unfortunately it seems I was too eager to tame it last year, it's a bit sparse to say the least
