Hi all. Feeling better now after yesterdays rant, thanks for your well wishes.
Huge thunder and lightening now, it waited while coffee and cake do had finished. Even got to sit outside for half of the event! Went nicely as expected. My contribution of a fruit salad went down really well - I dont bake so no cakes from me- F salad cost ??23 though!!! Everyone had good chats and support. Even had unprompted comments about my garden
Hope you've all had a good day, will go for a gander and try to pick up on wants been happening here....

How lovely yvie.Cute as a button on her new shoes!

Wish my day at the salt mines had been lovely, but alas no. finished and paid til 2.30 instead of 5.0. I know I should be happy for finishing early on a Friday but it's not the point. I'm really mad, spitting feathers but hey, I'll get over it...again. Such lack of organisation, care, purpose, fore planning, common sense, asking the right people....oh and I could go on...rant over.

At least I have time to go and scrub the decking for 'do' tomorrow (yes, that's it, the job step son promised to do but is too busy on computer). Hope it stays dry tomorrow despite forecast to be awful! Got people coming for a charity 'coffe and cake afternoon', looking forward to that and I WILL be chilled and calm by then! Best go as I can feel another rant on the way, which isn't really right as I'm not on here so much lately just know you guys can put up with me .

Morning all.
Looks like we had rain last night, could be wrong as eyes not quite working yet!a
Baby talk again? Not looked back but was it Lizzie and her new addition that kicked this conversation off? My tiny man cheated me of labour, strangely always regretted not going through it, he was only 2lb 10oz and docs said he needs 'out' but was too weak for labour, just a bloke really on a man flu day (togh as old boots ).
Off to the awful place today.
Have a good day all.

Evening everyone,
Gardengirl - we had pancakes tonight as well, left over mix from Yorkshire puddings, with banana and choc spread, mmmmm. Had a pasta bake gammony thingy first which was also nice.
Kef and fidget, feeling a bit green with envy, would have loved to go back and see fidgets garden, I can just imagine instead.
Garden should look reasonable for the 'do' at the weekend, fingers crossed. Always more difficult to impress non gadeners, I love the plants and flowers but many people just see the ' bigger picture' / garden as a whole, which I tend to overlook most of the time and never get right when im planning!
How did the interview go panda?
Have a good evening all.

Well done getting an interview Clarii hope it goes well, keep the bills paid until the dream arrives.
Got me thinking about agapanthus now...have avoided as expensive and seem a bit unreliable/difficult....
Got lots of 'bitty' jobs to do today, list has been made so hopefully won't forget anything.
Tomorrow is an early start with sons 7am appt, then nice work, finish early to go to school for award ceremony with fingers crossed as son nominated for one.
