Thanks Liri, I enjoyed those pics  didn't see the spheres or parasols though, and didn't get in the floral art marquee. hey ho, two days next time! and no slow coaches in attendan e! In fact Chatsworth all planned, just me and OH (who isn't interested so won't be wanting to dilly dally, he'll be under instruction not to moan, to indulge my oohs and ahhh, carry bags, provide cash, agree with everything, keep at my pace and follow appreciatively - well that's the plan! send him to beer tent is plan b, while I'm in proseccos and champers tent!). can't wait!

oh no! the blinkin sun is out again! Sorry! but I really must stay indoors and do some HW! Well a little pottering won't hurt will it? I'll be quick, honest! Anyway ironing can wait!

Help, perennials, everything is dying/wilting!

Aym, they are fab! and great that they don't need constant watering (lazy gardener here). I haven't seen lavertera as seeds before only the big pink tree ! so I'll be on the look out - when did you sow them and in trays or direct? will alos be converted back to nicotiana too ( always disliked the yellow washed out look).

Take some cuttings PP - ah, just remembered i tried that and they didn't work either, hmmm. Beautiful though. Just tried to take cuttings from Tatton purchase (penstemon) but hey presto! no only two stems and both flowering ( yes, I should choose more carefully especially as I had a rip off voice shouting at the back of my head!)... live n never learn.
