Trouble with seedlings from this lot (hordeum) Verdun, are that the leaves look exactly like ordinary grass! I will definately sow again (and earlier) as I love them! Just not sure how to make the most of them - I have some amongst margurites which works quite well. They need some support from another plant rather than 'staking'. I do like them 'en masse'. Any suggestions for companion planting to support them but not interfere with their beauty?

I've also really enjoyed the Helictotrichon sempervirens, which are taller, earlier and a nice bluish clump of low neat leaves.

Thanks Lily, the feathery grass was recommended on here, seeds sown quite late but all 70 germinated well!
