Morning all.
So is it official yet?... August is the new autumn ?
if so my unopened sunflowers have had it, but at least its autumn so I can start rearranging the planting. Ready to plant the new trees out but the GC doesn't know its autumn yet so haven't got a good choice in for me...
Roll on summer
have a good day everyone.

Dug over where new trees are going, chatted with bloke who flattened the garden at the bottom of mine (hence no privacy and need for spending on trees ), I didn't complain but got to know what was going on, no trees to be planted on their side (his sister's bought it). Question Just need to manure it I suppose (do I need to just for trees???). Still pondering which to get - already have liriodendron (pale and fancy leaves) and amelanchier (white flowers pretty and good autumn colour). Ideas please Thinking about columnar varieties of cherry (esp if with red leaves which I think I've seen somewhere), theres a liquidambar in a columnar shape but a bit pricey compared to normal shape. For a few years there wont be much space ( enough though) until trampoline can be ditched.
