First one should be aquickie...did I plant it or sow it last year or is it a weed? (5 of them).

Finally dug the aquilegias out of the allium bed, wasn't as risky as I thought and I think all the alliums have survived.

Then decided the monarda was spreading far too much in the red bed, so moved to a new bed with a new red hot poker. Found a struggling rudbekia so added that as well.

Rescued a swamped hemerocalliis, couldn't find a spot for it so it'll have to live in a pot for now.

Most of my garden is swamped at the moment so here comes a new learning curve!

Aching after a morning run (getting good at this fitness lark, well doing it anyway).

Hasnt stopped me in the garden though,  wearily tidied away the spring bulb planters and dragged some others into place (can't go on like this, must have another plan than moving pots every season). Tidied the GH which had become a shed instead! Moved patio furniture.  Sat and enjoyed garden from new bifold doors, whilst nursing a suspected pulled muscle in calf and wondering why that cat thinks it lives here

OH tells me we are off for another bike ride tomorrow. Yikes! Help!

Morning.

Stepson also is starting his exams this week so good luck to the chicklets.

Kef, just another coffe and your get up will drag you out there spade in hand

Verdun, thought it was cold in Cornwall all the time!?

Gorgeous pics BL, don't cross your fingers too hard for sunday 1. you won't need luck with that garden of yours and 2. it'll make it hard doing the final touches.

Becky, OHs are rarely right but yes don't overdo it.

Busy 'bitty' day, here and ther, this and that, I've had to write a job list and put it in the right order so everything gets done. Hope your list goes well too DD.

Just caught the tail end of Garden Challenge on TV Bbc2 I think, will be watching it in full once I get OH out to work tomorrow!

Off to GC tomorrow to ask for advice! I think I know what they'll say but any excuse! The Acer drumondii I bought last year has some none variegated leaves coming through, one is even half variegated and half full green! Hope I don't encounter any stickiness while I'm there

Oh eck!

Sounds like some nice planting and planning is going on here today

All I've done is cut the grass after work. Not got any energy left  to do the edges even though they are in desperate need

Got all sorts of unlabelled things in pots, many are half dead. I just don't know where to start with them all or how big they will grow, if I will like them, but can't find it in my heart to bin em and concentrate on what I know I'm happy with .

my rhododendron is looking nice again, well the flowers are (the leaves didn't recover), euphoria fire glow is perking up nicely too
