I have around 360 to plant out in a large circle with a shell in the middle i do this every year so ffar ive never pinched out and they all have grown into decent plants

he he have already had a word with the game keeper!!good idea though dove !the kitchen garden now looks more like a scrap yard with all the metal defences and scare crows they dont seem to like the aparagus though ......thank goodness

my tulips are also being deadheaded also parsnip seedlings scratched out,and potato tops scatched out and pecked the culprits......pheasants

Mine is now shooting thank goodness was getting a little worried last week it being so dry so fertilized with q4 and watered thourghly its an old bed so quite pleased

last year my mum decided she wanted runner beans right at the last minute so I soaked them over night in tepid water and they actually caught right up dont panic theres plenty of time

finaly finished sowing parsnips today a hundred plus all the wild onesthat should be enough lol weeded the asparagus bed and fed light rain now falling perfect another row of carots and spinach cant wait for the yummy bit achy and tired now but well worth the efforts i hope
