finaly finished sowing parsnips today a hundred plus all the wild onesthat should be enough lol weeded the asparagus bed and fed light rain now falling perfect another row of carots and spinach cant wait for the yummy bit achy and tired now but well worth the efforts i hope

flo bear I do recall the attenbourgh series and yes they so fluffy and light they would just bounceoooh looks like mum blackbird hatching again keep us informred exciting isnt it

we have a wall about fifteen foot high that runs the length of the garden at work and on the top amongst the wisteria there is a nesting duck the pair go off on walks now and again they look so sweet.They have done the same for years apparantly cant wait for babies wondering how on earth they will get down though ..safely i hope

evening all did try to sow parsnip seeds managed fifty before the wind and rain got too much lol parsnips probably now growing every where apart from where i want them

mine are going a bit yellow on thr leaf am tempted to move them on to taller pots they are in root trainers and showing no signs of needing repotting but feel they need more feed

A lovely peacock while on a teatime walk with my dog the rest of the time saw nothing but seeds and soil in a valiant attempt of cathching up with sowing.
