I have Rudbeckias on clay soil and they love it.
Trachelospernum jasminoides might be OK in a pot. Has the benefit of a beautiful scent. You will need to be very diligent in watering for any climber
The plants seem to be loving this weather.
It could be a Hibiscus but not sure which variety
They will be caterpillar eggs. Squash immediately or you won't have any cabbages to harvest
