turbo plants

Has anyone tried the "turbo" tomato plants available from some catalogues and if so what do you think? We tried them and were very dissappointed. The crop was quite poor so last year we went back to "normal" ones.

Talkback: How to grow agapanthus from seed

I saved some seeds from our agapanthus in Autumn. I have kept them in a paper bag inside a tin so they are dry and not too hot/cold as they are in the garage. When should I sow them? Do they need heat or is an unheated greenhouse OK? Any help/comments would be appreciated.

Chard is good for first timers as no matter what you do to it it keeps growing! For carrots, mine in the veg plot where massacred  by root fly but the ones I planted in some old potato bags were brilliant. I am going to plant more in bags this year and none in the veg patch.
