I planted a tropeoleum speciosum  last year in a warm sheltered spot (in  London) near to a wall for it to scramble up. There have been no flowers this summer, although the plant survived last winter and always looks healthy . What can I do to encourage it to flower?

I have a one-year old schizostylus plant which is  producing lots of flowers in its second year. However the flowers are a dull pale pink, not bright coral as they were originally. What is wrong and how can I improve the colour?
