Yes bury them up to the first leaves and make sure they get plenty of light to stop them getting leggy again.

Which magazine has tested this compost sold at Waitrose and has given it a Dont Buy label. All plants they trialed did very badly, must point out it is peat free.

Have to agree with Carol, it has become really boring. Not much information for anybody new to gardening unless they want to know about box hedging dying and how to dig up plant and replant them.

Unless you have a lot of plants the cost of running a heater would be more than replacing the plants from a Garden centre.

Thanks everyone, never had a Camelia before so looking forward to it blooming, I will keep it in a cold porch until the worst of the weather is over.

I have just been given a small Camelia in a pot that is covered with buds, will it flower if I leave it indoors over winter or should I put it outside ? Also when I put it outside what is the best location for it.
