Whats eating my Tomatoes?

Something eating my tomatoes, could it be pigeons? They are growing in the garden in a pot. Would it be best to move them in the greenhouse?

Corn Cockle can kill?

Posted: 16/07/2014 at 09:49

In the Daily Mail today it states that Corn Cockle is poison and can cause severe stomach pains, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, weakness, slow breathing and even death by touching it. Surely this cant be right as it is included in a lot of Wildflower seed mixes.I have grown it in my garden for the past few years and have never heard of this plant being a danger.

can anyone recognise this plant please?

A photo would help.

To trim or not to trim

Come October/November I trim all my Fuchsias back by a third and remove all the leaves before overwintering them in the greenhouse, and maintain a temperature of at least 5 degrees.

fuschia leaves turned brown

Apart from the yellowing leaves the plant looks healthy, I wouldnt worry to much all fuchsias will shed some leaves during the season
