Make sure you remove them from the plant as it will stop flowering if left on.

I have grown Sweet Williams and Wallflowers for next year and they are now about 4 inches high,when is the best time to plant them in the garden?

Thanks,realised you are right I had the trough on top of a slanted wall thus one plant was lower than the other so the water drained to one end.Once again learnt by my mistakes.

I bought these plants about 2 weeks ago,they were both healthy and growing well.Now one of them has started dying in the middle,having treated them both the same I dont understand what could be going wrong,any suggestions?

I trim mine back by a third in october and strip all the leaves and flowers,they then start regrowing before the winter. If you can keep them above 5 degrees they will continue to grow and you can start pinching out.This is what you can achieve.
