Sunshine here.
Friends coming round and we're off out for a while this afternoon then back here to eat.
Tried to prep in advance to make it relaxing, made a huge curry last night, so just reheating, cooking the rice and accompaniments!

No garden time but should be a lovely day.
Just popping in as I've got cleaning to do!

Just looked out of the window. Snow and sun at the same time
Also, a pheasant has just gone by. I think it must have a poorly leg. It looked like it was from The Ministry of Funny Walks (pheasant dept.)

Lots of people running out of space. I'm just getting started, haven't pricked out seedlings yet. They have started to grow though

I think it is a skimmia too. I have had one that looked the same, was there when we moved in. It was in the front that gets the sun almost all day and in a narrow bed at the side of the path. I left it but it never did much!

I agree with Jo that it looks something like a juniper horizontalis in the last pic.

Not so much snow here today just the odd flurry. Most melted though I don't know how, it was freezing out there. The thermometer said 2C but it felt much colder, a very bitter wind.

Putting off doing school work....it has to be done but I'm just delaying.

Bjay, you sound very industrious with your egg cosy production. I had noticed the bunny pattern in the Daily Mail, saw it online but you had to buy the paper.

Tropical moments, sounds tempting but think (hope) I shall be waiting some years yet! Someone I worked with called them "power surges"!
