Hi. I know I always post late but...I have a load of perrenials I grew from seed this year and just kinda did the stick em in planting. Problem is now...I have big plants at the front of my border and little ones at the back. Can I move them just now or do I need to leave them? Would really appreciate the help amd advice as it looks really messy. Thankyou.x

Importing seeds

Evening

Has anyone ever imported seeds from the USA before? If so...how much import tax do you usually pay and are there some I can not fetch in through customs? Also...who would I contact to see if there is a list of what I can and can not import in?

Thanks in advance

Tomato Problem

It can also be stress? Too much difference between heat through the day and at night. Mine have suffered as we are hitting 28 through the day and its pretty cool at night. I may be wrong though.

Spiral topary

Posted: 14/07/2013 at 22:14

Good evening folks,

I have bought a myrtle today which is on a single healthy stem and stands at about a foot tall. My question is...can I make it into a spiral topary for the garden? I would keep it in a pot as I know that it needs to be protected in the Scottish winters but would this work? Also, it says that it likes to be in a soil compost. If I mix half compost and half garden soil, will it be happy? And finally, is it a slow grower?

Thanks
