Our own A to Z of our Gardening

Oh wow! we used to go out for a run on the bikes and stop at a hotel for a tea to warm us up before heading home. It was fine up until about 9pm then we had to put our helmets back on as they were flying so low. I loved it. I am a massive bat fan...not surprisingly for a witchypoo lol

Oh, Bells of Ireland?

Oh, Fig thats a great idea? Although OH may complain as already have seed trays on all windowsills and one in the fridge

Rosa...so it helps with clay soils? I have a section in the garden thats really bad and was wondering what I could do to help it break up a bit. Like Mandy has said...do you leave it on top or dig it in?

I have done the very same with my snap dragons and now have that many I cant keep up with the pricking out. I cant throw them away either. Can they be planted in little clumps do you think or do they need singles out?

All you experts I need help - germination techniques

Hehehe, my nickname is Red lol.

The Verbena I am sending you Mandy will be much better than the last lot. I chucked some in a pot and abandoned it on the 20th of Feb and they germinated in a cold greenhouse on the 27th of March.

I knew my nerdyness for seed sowing and germination would come in handy sometime hehe

I am now over run by them lol

which is best?

Maggie, if you are anything like me you always need a supply of compost lol

I use multipurpose for EVERYTHING I grow
