Oh, great idea

I will go with...

Aconite:A deadly poison which can be absorbed through the skin causing tingling, numbness, nausea and a variety of very unpleasant symptoms leading to death if an antidote is not supplied. So...wear gloves when handling these stunning plants

Also...

Angelica: Angelica root can be made into an infusion and used to treat coughs, colds, sore throats, hoarseness and bronchitis. It will also relieve flatulence and colic and sooth an upset tummy but if you are diabetic...stay well clear of it.

Goodness Lyn.

I have just read the thread of 'No Private Club' I too was asked to join but thought it was an extension of advice if you like. I didnt realise it was as its been explained in the latter mentioned thread.

Hehe Joe...I started reading it and it explained alot so i jumped to the end and saw that it was now about girly stuff

I quite like reading some of the threads as they start as one thing and end up something totally different lol. All part of the adventure hehe.

I have to say though that my attention was lost when I read about whiskers and veet

I have Sown two batches of each now and no germination. They are in a cold greenhouse but everything else is doing fine. Is it still too sold for them out there???

I'm not on here as much due to my business and being in the garden but I have come on this evening to have a wee nose about and have found quite a lot of agitation. What has happened to the forum?

There seems to be bickering or squabbling in a load of the threads. People seem to be turning on each other and being very picky. Have I missed something when I have been away? Has there been a mass slpit?

Even down to people having a go about Internet etiquette. This means this and that means that. Goodness. Its like a nursery...and not a plant one

Well...(pause)  I have used T&M a couple of times this year and have been a little disappointed I must say. Alot of the seeds I planted have not germinated and the ones that have done are very weak while others from another supplier are very strong.

I have used Dobbies in the past but have now decided to leave them to their own mass commercialness. I was given some vouchers by me neighbour last year when i moved in. Off I went...very happy and bought some garlic, dalias and gladioli. I came trotting home very pleased with myself and started planting them up. The garlic were mouldy, the gladioli had a worm in it (and not your friendly 'howdydoday' worm) and the dalia lasted about 6 weeks and died.

I have a wonderful local GC 4 miles away who are always good for advice, help and suggestions. I now give business to them. They are a little dearer but I feel I'm supporting a local business as well as being meet with a smile and always a 'Good morning'

Seed Sowing

Hi Nutcutlet...not bad. Nothing with true leaves yet but they are coming up at last. Viriflora does seem alot slower than the rest mind. Lyn...Ive never heard of the lecky blanket trick  Its always worth a shot though

I have a few more to plant yet. Goin to put my squashes in the compost heap and see how they get on this year.

Bugger. I forgot the Aquilegia collection. I have 12 types...mainly black, white, purple and red in colours

Im a bit obsessive over them as Nutcutlet will tell you  lol. I have waited almost 14 weeks for them to wake up and germinate lol
