Moon Garden Suggestions....

Posted: 26/06/2013 at 23:42

I am slowly putting together a moon garden. The idea is that its filled with night scented flowers and plants that attract the evening and night time wee beasties. Foliage can be green, yellowy, variegated or silver. Flowers can only be white. The idea is that when the moonlight hits the bed, it will very slightly glow. What can you suggest to add in to it?

What are you sowing now?

Hey everyone.

Very quick question here...What are you sowing in the greenhouse just now? Or, if your not sowing, what can be sown now?

V. My astrantias are i full sun all day and seem to thrive. If I put them with my helebores they would be in deep shade at present!

Oakley W. yes they are a steady performer, getting a bit bigger by the year.

Thats great Wonderboy. Thankyou  I feel a little better now lol. Was starting to worry a little

Get a copper pipe from a builders yard or hardware shop, cut it into 1 inch sections and pull the leaves through the copper rings. I have the same problem. I have some in rings and some not. The ones in the rings are great, the others have been munched beyond all hope.

Oohhh...mmeeeeee. I love them. I planted some seeds last autumn and they are still coming up now. Am I right in saying that they are very slow in growing? I have 6 which have taken but they seem to be taking forever. I mean, the seedlings only have 3 leaves on each at the most. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong???
